On June 19th, 2024, the United Nations General Assembly proclaimed 2025 as the International Year of Cooperatives.

Under the slogan “Cooperatives Create a Better World”, the key role of Cooperatives in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030 is highlighted.
