GAIA EPICHEIREIN’s interactive event at the Averof Farming School, in the context of COOPinCAP

The interactive informational event for the COOPinCAP – “Cooperation for Sustainable Agriculture” took place on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at the premises of the Averof Farming School at Larissa, Greece.

The event started with a tour by the head of the school, Nikos Tsouloufas, and then, NEUROPUBLIC’s Sales Executive for Northern Greece, Kostas Tsionis, presented the Digital Transformation project, as well as the contribution of the CAP to promoting cooperation.
This was followed by an on-site briefing at the agro-meteorological station installed at the school’s educational farm, with the presence of the students, where Mr. Tsionis analyzed the station’s operation. During the event, data on the digital transformation of the agricultural sector in Greece was also presented.

As part of the event, chef Elisavet Kontokosta, with the support of GAIA EPICHEIREIN, presented twelve indicative recipes to students and professors of the school, which highlight the unique taste and authenticity of PDO and PGI products, connecting tradition with modern gastronomy.

The aim of the book is to highlight the contribution of the CAP to quality systems and the use of geographical indications.
