Invitation to CAP4Youth’s Open CAP Day

GAIA EPICHEIREIN, in the context of the project’s information and communication actions CAP4Youth – “CAP for Young Farmers: Generational Renewal and Sustainable Agriculture in Greece”, which is implemented with the support of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development (DG AGRI), organizes the Open CAP Day event on:

CAP and Generational Renewal: The Future of Rural Life and the Role of Young People in the Renewal of the Rural Population

The event will take place on Monday 09 March, 11:00-13:00 at Multipurpose RoomCentral Administration Building of the Agricultural University of Athens.

  • Pavlonasios Nikos, President of the Panhellenic Union of Young Farmers
  • Soulis Konstantinos, Assistant Professor, Agricultural University of Athens, on “Geoinformatics and Spatial Analysis in Agriculture and the Environment”

The event is addressed to the young public and especially to students, with the aim of informing about the current developments of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and the available support tools for young farmers.

Through the presentations and discussion, the aim is to highlight the role of young people in the renewal of the rural population and in shaping a sustainable future for Greek and European agriculture.
